Bolnisi Sioni is an oldest extant basilica church building in Georgia built in V century. The cathedral is known for its Georgian Bolnisi inscriptions. These are one of the oldest historical documents of the Georgian alphabet. Tsugrugasheni is one of the extant architectural monuments of the Georgian Golden age built in 1212–1222 by George IV Lasha of the Bagrationi Dynasty.
